The Rearden, Chapter 2 – Timeout

When the Governor is implicated in a murder scandal, Kira takes control to manage their interests, forcing Erol into a weeklong house arrest so he can’t interfere. Time that Erol could have easily lost to drugs is instead applied to personal improvement as he addresses his depression with a new cardio routine, discovers an archive of self-help videos, and investigates a secret room in his home. As he works to repair his damaged memory, he also reconciles the man he was with the man he hoped to become.

Click that picture for chapter two. I previously said that subsequent chapters would be shorter than the first one, but in hindsight that was a lie. This one is even longer. The next will be shorter, though, I promise!
